Our Vision

The Pilot Point Community Library seeks to enrich the lives of Pilot Point and the surrounding communities by providing opportunities and resources for individuals of all ages and backgrounds to learn, connect, enjoy and discover.

Library History

The Pilot Point Community Library opened its doors on May 4, 1975 due to the tireless efforts of the 19th Century Club and other local organizations.  The first location of the Library was the old Fire department building; a building that had been in use since 1906.  In 1990, the Pilot Point National Bank gave the current building to the City of Pilot Point which turned it into the Library.

Library Cards

The Pilot Point Community Library provides free library cards to all Denton County residents, City of Tioga residents, and all Pilot Point ISD students.  Services are available to all others for an annual fee.
