A Board of Adjustment and Appeals member must be a qualified voter of the City. Terms are two years. There are currently two vacant positions in this board.
Responsibilities
The City Council has established a Board of Adjustment and Appeals. The Board of Adjustment hears and determines appeals of administrative decisions and requests for variances in the case of peculiar and unusual circumstances which would prevent the reasonable use of land and such other matters as may be required by the City Council or by law.
To be heard by the Board of Adjustment and Appeals fill out an application and return it to City Hall.
