The City Council appoints the City Manager, who serves as chief administrative officer by executing the laws and administering the government of the city, as directed by the City Council policies

Terry Roberts has been working in local government since 1975.

Education

Terry has a B.S. in Education from Southwest Texas State University.

Employment

He retired from Brenham where he worked for 17 years as city manager. He has been city manager in El Campo, Seguin, Yoakum and Diboll and assistant city  manager in San Marcos before that. 

Experience

Terry has 42 years in local government and is an experienced local government executive who is a leader with a proven track record of results and achievements. He has 42 years
